Hi, my name is Richard, and I founded CloudreadyHR Limited in 2018 after leaving Alight Solutions, a leading Workday Consultancy. I had been working for Alight Solutions (previously known as Aon Hewitt) for 4 years. Prior to consulting, I was employed in roles within HR, and before that IT.
My first experience with Workday was in 2013 whilst working in the HR shared services team for the McGraw-Hill Companies in London. McGraw-Hill were moving from their legacy HR system to a new global cloud based HR solution called Workday. As part of the implementation I worked as a Subject Matter Expert for employee/position data and HR processes for the EMEA region.
After the implementation, I took a position with Aon Hewitt, who were setting up a Workday practice in the UK, as a Workday Implementation Consultant specialising in Global HR and Core Compensation. The role responsibilities included helping clients to understand Workday functionality and to gather their requirements for their Workday tenant, build their solutions and replay the system back to them for review and testing, all the way through to go-live.
I truly believe that Workday is a fantastic HR (and Finance) product, and when configured correctly to your organisations requirements, then launched and embedded in an organisation as part of a transformation project, can bring enormous benefits to your organisation.
